The question of whom to base the costume on was rather easy. My favorite CAT is Bombalurina; I'll give you 3 guesses who I chose to do and the first 2 don't count.
Being 1) a fairly slow person and 2) strapped for cash, I knew there was no way I would be able to get it done for that Halloween; so I gave myself a year to do it. Boy did I need it.
Combined with a looooong time saving up, forever spent searching around and planning for what would look like (and then having to implement these plans), and incredibly slow and stupid customs people, I am now finished. This is kinda a mini gallery of what I have done in making this costume...
